computer not finding new hardware for kodak camera

i installed the program disk on my new computer for kodak easy share....
when i connect the camera via usb its supposed to auto upload in 10
seconds.....it doesnt upload instead i get a not that says connection not
found.

is it possible that my USB ports are not funcational? this program worked
just fine on my old computer.... PLease help must have this program!

I would try a reboot, first of all.
Also, do you have another USB device of any sort to test your USB ports? It
would be good to have the peace of mind of knowing they are good before
going further in trying to solve the problem.
Reboot first, and if necessary, let us know if the USB's test OK.
