COMPUTER NOT CONNECTING TO NETWORK

what im getting here is i can ping other computers etc on
my network but i cannot connect to them, ie a shared
folder or device... my network adapter properties are the
same on this computer as all others... i dont know how
long it has been like this.. when i try to connect to
another computer all i get is invalid function or list of
servers not found
 
make sure no firewall running.
