computer management?

This is just something thats kinda odd, but no really problem. More annoying
than anything.
With some of the computer accounts in ADUC, I right-click and select manage
but with some machines it errors out saying that it couldn't find the
machine. I know the machine is on, i can ping it by its name so what gives?
I can try from a DC with ADUC or my station with the management tools
installed and still the same problem.

Perhaps file and print sharing is not enabled on those machines, or perhaps
the server service is not started?

Thanks for the quick reply, and yes file and print sharing isn't enabled. It
just sort of dawned on me.....Thanks again.
