Computer Locks up

I have installed SP-2 and since then I am getting
nuisance lock ups. It stops for no reason and there is no
dialog or error box, and suggetions would be appreciated,
Win XP--SP2
BlackIce Firewall.
McAfee Virus Protection.
Spamfighter.
Have tried disabling McAfee, problem still there.

512 Mem
40G HD

try following the instruction for SP-2,

"CLOSE ALL OPEN Programs"

so if you had McAfee or Blackice running during the
install,............. it's your own fault for not reading
the instruction.

you may have damaged your current install of windows by
leaving security programs running.
