Friends,
I am getting error on 2 or 3 Win XP Pro sp2 machines, once i try to open one
computer in domain. On some machines it happen all the time but on some, only
sometime.
Error is;
\\computer is not accessible. You might not have permission to use the
network recrources. Contact the administrator of this erver to find out if
you have access permission. The network path was not found.
I got the solution" from one post and i applied it but for me did work that.
Solution was:
Run Regedit and alter the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA
Set "RestrictAnonymous" to "0"
I checked that option and its already set to 0, so i applied an other
solution by enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP, but that also didn’t work for
me.
I am not having Windows firewall or any special AV software installed.
Any solution to solve my problem?
Note: I can access that computer if i browse by its IP, and also our DNS
server is working fine so i dont think that this problem is due to DNS.
Thanks
