Computer freezes up

I have an IBM thinkpad, Windows XP and use AOL for On-
line stuff. My system often freezes up when I am on line
and playing Spider solitaire. The cursor doesn't move
and Ctl-Alt-Del does nothing. I have to manually turn it
off then on.

When it comes back up I get this message in Notepad,
"[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-
21787"

Any known cause and fix?

Hi, I had also that trouble sometimes, and had to find out
that is was not the computer that froze, but the
graphicscard went into a continuous loop. I downloaded
then new drivers from the vendors page and installed
latest directX and my problem was solved.
