computer crashed need to re-install windows xp

I have run fdisk and cant get the drive intregrity to go
above 7 percent. Is there step by step instructions to
start with format and then partition and such. Can't
find anything on xp. Can't make any progress with
fdisk. Help please

Xp don't have the fdisk utility. Boot from the xp cd to do your partition
and formating.
