My computer will not allow me to defrag or enter serval
areas because I am not listed as computer administrator
accout. How do I change my accout?

areas because I am not listed as computer administrator
accout. How do I change my accout?

You need to be logged on as The Administrator to change your limited account
to an account with Admin rights.
As you don't say which version of XP you have:
In Home edition, boot into Safe Mode.
In Pro, at the welcome screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice when you will see the
W2K style log in box appear. Type in the Administrator Account details.

Then in either version, go to Control Panel-Users and Accounts and change
your log-on to one with Administrator Rights.
