computer accounts disappear in A.D.

The computer and/or user accounts that you can no longer
see may have been moved to a different organizational unit
within the domain. Do a search in the AD for that
particular user or computer object and you may be able to
find it elsewhere. If the account is no longer in the
domain at all then I don't know what to tell you.
 
Unfortunately the computers which are missing are nowhere to be found within
the A.D. tree. I perform searches at the directory tree root level...
