I want to compress my C Drive, but since i am computer stupid; I'm not sure
if i should. Will it just screw up my system ? Will it slow down the loading
of programs ? Or am i just being parinoid and jst do it ? What are the PLUSES
and DOWNFALLS if any ? THANKS....
The problem i am having is that i tried to download an update for an online
game and was able to get the file 300Mb. But when i try to access it, it
closes saying not enough disk space. But I have 2.5 Gig of space available. I
have defragged the drive, deleated unneeded files or sent them to my D drive
and still get the same message. I even saved the file to a disk, did a sys
restore, then tried to access the file again a you guessed it; it closes with
the same message. Hmmm.

So how much free space on C:?
and how much on D:?
Did you run Disk Cleanup?
From the Start/Run type '%temp%' without quotes, and perminently delete
what is found.

WOW !! I had 2.58GB free on C befor doing this, NOW i have 8.37GB
D: has 78.1GB of space available
And yes before posting i even did the disk cleanup. But again WOW !! Now
what the hell did i just deleat lol ???

Staples has a 200 GB internal Hard Drive ON sale today and tomorrow for
$29.94 after rebates.
