Compressed files

Helo everyone!

I need to recover some lost files that are compressed by the XP cleaning
tool. The recovery program says it can't access the files because they are
compressed. Can anyone tell me how to decompress them?

start/run, type:
HH mkMSITStore:%windir%\Help\ntcmds.chm::/compact.htm

The 'compress' utility will do that job, assuming you can access the
partition. If the recovery partition is hidden, you will need a utility to
unhide it.
