A customer of mine has created and registered various
components on a W2K server that is fully patched and
running MDAC v2.8. The components he has registered are
set to run under a particular identity and this seems to
work fine until the machine is rebooted. After a reboot
the web page that uses them fails until you log onto the
server with the usercode they are configured to run under.
Once you have done this you can log off straight away and
the application continues to work until the next reboot.

Can anyone help?

Are these components using mapped drives or some other "per-user"
construct/mapping?

All DLL's are local to the web box as is the usercode they
are using
