Hello,
I am new at FrontPage, and I am using FrontPage 2000. During practice, I
imported the home page from an active intranet web. When I view the component
error report I get the following error: Substitution Component references
substitution parameter " Company Webmaster", but the parameter is not set for
the page or the web. What is the cause of this error and how do I correct it?

Tools->Web Settings > Parameters tab
Click Add
In Name, type in "Company Webmaster" without the quotes.
In value, Type in "John Doe", again without the quotes.
Click OK, click OK. Then check the page and Reports.

Hi Ronx,
I did exactly what you suggested below. It didn't seem to work, the report
still indicates a component error. Is there anything else I should try or
look for?

Type Company Webmaster exactly as the error message shows it. If there is a
space before Company, type that space.

Thank you Ronx,
I finally worked it out. I typed in the Company Webmaster exactly as shown
in the message and it didn't change, until I recalculated the hyperlinks.
