Completely stopped working

A little over a month ago my Internet Explorer just
completely stopped opening any pages whatsoever. It wont
even open to the home page. I've downloaded Avant Browser
in the meantime, which works great, but whenever I try to
click on a link from like AIM's Today page (or other
outside links), it only connects to Internet Explorer,
which still wont open the page. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!
 
Try this fix.

You Cannot Open New Internet Explorer Window or Nothing Happens After You
Click a Link
Also, when you attempt to access Web folders, you may receive the following
error message: The current operation could not completed because an
unexpected error has occurred.
