Is there a way to completely delete URL entries? I have
cleared the history, but when you start typing it still
automatically gives the drop down list of options.

I have also cleared the auto-complete, and still have this
happen. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Start > Run > regedit:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Typed URLs and remove them from there

when you start typing it still automatically gives
the drop down list of options.

If you don't want the AutoComplete feature turn it off.
Uncheck via the Contents tab
Use AutoComplete for Web Addresses
(Alt-T,O,Ctrl-Tab x3,u,a)
