Compile Hidden Module errors

I have just started getting some very odd error messages
in Excel. I was having error messages in Outlook, and had
to delete modules that Adobe Acrobat had installed in
Microsoft folders without my knowing it. I have a feeling
the same cause is my problem in Excel, but I cannot find a
fix. The messages are:

When opening Excel: Microsoft Visual Basic -- Compile
error in hidden module: AutoExecNew

When Closing Excel: Microsoft Visual Basic -- Compile
error in hidden module: DistMon

I have gone through all my Office folders and my personal
My Documents folders, but I can't seem to find the cause.
Anyone have any ideas?

I went there, and that file is gone, but I am still
getting the same error messages. After playing for a
while, I discovered that Micorsoft Visual Basic has a huge
macro installed called pdfmaker.xla, however, I cannot
find it anywhere on my harddrive to delete, and the macro
is asking me for a password to access it, so I can't even
remove it that way. Any other ideas? I really do need to
be able to use my Excel.

pdfmaker.xla is not a macro. It is an Add-in and is being loaded upon startup
of Excel.

The Pdfmaker.xla file in located in one of the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Xlstart (Excel 2000)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Xlstart (Excel 2002)
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\Xlstart

Re-check the info at the URL Frank gave you below.

Also, if searching on your harddrive, be sure you are set up to not "hide
known file extensions" and set to "show all files" in Folder Options.
