Compile errors when starting/stopping Excel

I am having problems with some errors when starting and
stopping Excel 2003. When opening a new sheet I get the
following Visual Basic error:

"Complile error in hidden Module: AutoExecNew"

When Closing Excel I get the following error:

"Compile Error in Hidden Module: DistMon"

Have uninstalled and reinstalled Office but no help. Help
files and Knowledge Base have nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas?
