compile error

When I open Excell (2002) I get a small dialog box that says:

Compile error in hidden module: AutoExecNew

When I click OK on the box, the worksheet opens and appears to behave
normally.

When I close Excel I get the following message:

Compile error in hidden module: DistMon

When I click on OK, Excel closes

Can anyone offer any advice?
