I'm having a great deal of trouble with Netscape (7.1).
I have created a website primarily with the Tahoma font.
It displays great in IE (6.0) but Netscape displays it
in a completely different font and size (Usually in a
serif font that looks like Times Roman - 1 size
smaller). Not only that but in some cases, it displays
it correctly. The Web is has an external style sheet
(CSS) that specifies {font-family: Tahoma, Arial,
Helvetica; } for every style.

Is there any way to stop it?

You haven't set any styles for td, p or li.
Internet Explorer will cascade the body font style into these tags, Netscape
does not.

I have never used these 3 tags . Does that matter? I know that td is for
table description and that li is used for list item and, I assume, p is for
paragraph but they only appear as the html tags in the style menu but not on
the style pull down menu.
Why should they be used.

You obviously looked at my style sheet which, of course, but how I know
its possible

Yes, it matters. It ensures that your CSS is properly inherited INTO your
tables, paragraphs and lists.
