Compatability of Windows XP and Office Pro 4.3

I know the Office Pro 4.3 is from the dark ages, but if
anyone can answer the question of whether it will work
properly with Windows XP I would greatly appreciate the

Well, if you already have XP on your computer, you could try installing
Office Pro 4.3 and see what happens. If it doesn't work, you could try
installing it under Compatibility Mode. If your computer has an earlier
MS operating system on it and you're trying to decide whether to
upgrade (and Office Pro 4.3 is on your current computer), run the
Windows Upgrade Advisor (downloadable from MS). I'm not familiar with
this app, but you might want to take a look at the free office suite
OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org) which will work just fine on XP.
