Comparing a value to a list of values does not work in Excel 2003.

Are you aware that this is an *array* formula?

Array formulas are entered using CSE, <Ctrl> <Shift> <Enter>, instead of the
regular <Enter>, which will *automatically* enclose the formula in curly
brackets, which *cannot* be done manually.

Very strange, the following simple formula is not working...
=OR(EXACT(A1, D1:D10))

it does not go through the range.... and compare
