Compare Excel Access - Data validation

What are the differences and similarities between excel and access with
respect to data validation?
 
Hi:

Access is muc stricter. In Excel you limit with Data | Validation - which is
very limited. Access has much better choices, tables relationships etc. For
more strcutured data Access is better. Excel can be good for end users to
filter data, make charts etc.
