Compare Bill of materials

I am working with several "Bill of materials" and many have several items
the same. My task is to determine the items that are not the same and list
or hil-ight them for more detailed work. The comparison will be on a line
for line basis - not a full "Range" comparison.

Is there a way in Excel to compare more than two lists?

I use Access to do basically the same type of comparison.
With Access you can link the spreadsheets into different
tables within a database and then use a prebuilt Query
wizard that will tell you what those differences are. I'm
not sure if you could then highlight those and have it
show on your spreadsheet, I haven't tried that yet. If
you find out an answer withni Excel I'd be interested
also.
