Compaq IJ200 Print Drivers for Windows XP

Has anyone been able to get the Compaq IJ200 to work with Windows XP.

I just bought a new Dell and could not get the print drivers file
(SP10490.exe) from Compaq that works on Windows 98 to work. I also tried
the XP version of the Lexmark 1000/1100 ink jet print drivers and could
not get them to work. Also tried the print drivers for the Compaq IJ300
and those would not work. Seem like a waste not to be able to use a
perfectly good printer that serves my simple needs just fine.

I was disappointed when I discovered my Epson Photo 700 wasn't Xp
compatible. Someone suggest Win2000 drivers... Sorted.

Just a thought.

Thanks the support people just keep pushing the Lexmark solution which I
tried and could not get to work but they gave a detail step by step
procedure to follow so I will give it one more try.
