Company wide Category List?

How are categories stored? It seems as if even
the "master" category list is specific to each PC, and is
not kept on the exchange server. I want to develop a
common list of categories that can be shared / accessed by
everyone in the company. How can this be accomplished?
Also we use public folders for each project we have in-
house. Could this list of categories be customized for
individual public folders?

The category selection for an individual item is stored with that item. The
master category list, which is nothing more than a convenience for the user,
is stored in the user's WIndows registry.

Category choices for public folders can be enforced with a custom form. See
