I do not understand why my CompacTflash (in Master) is always on d:\
and my HDD (into Slave) takes c:\.
My Boot.ini seems to me good:

[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Embedded" /fastdetect /bootlogo:boot.bmp /noguiboot

Does it have a place where it has average to configure the letters of
the drives?

Thk

I have make several test and now I am sure that the problem comes from
Compactflash. How Compactflash can retain a letter of driver? How to
erase this value?

To erase the value of the drive, you need to delete the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices

First time I did delete it, I was a bit scare but it did work ( I
didn'T saw my local drive until I did that ) but now it's work.

hi,

Is your compact flash on the primary IDE channel? The boards that i
use mostly has CF on secondary IDE channel which will become driver D:
if i attach a hard driver on the primary IDE channel together with the
CF.

I hope this will help.
regards.
