Has anyone know if the Compact Framework works fine with CE 3.0
I tested it and it seems to work, but what is the Microsoft official point of view ? and is there some limitation

The .NET CF is supported for PocketPC and PocketPC 2002 devices, which run
version 3 of Windows CE. For all other Windows CE 3.0 devices the use of the
..NET CF is unsupported. That doesn't say that it does not work, but you are
basically on your own.

The official line is no, it's not supported on CE 3.0 unless it's a PPC.

In addition to Maarten and Chris's comments, even though .NetCF is supported
on PocketPC devices, it runs very slowly on those legacy MIPS devices so it
might not meet your needs even if you can get it to run.
