Compact Database

Is there a way to automatically run the tool Compact and Repair when a user
closes out of the database?

Also, what is the best way to back up the database on a different drive?
I would like to put a command button on a switchboard that would allow the
user to browse to a differnt folder and/or drive on their computer to save a
backup.

Hi,
to compact/repair on close - go to menu tools-options - you will find there
a checkbox for this.
