Compact and Repair

Hi Fellow Programmers, My access database is 300MB. when i
try to do compact and repair it stops in the middle. I am
unable to compact and repair. Does any one know why and
what can i do to compact and repair it.

Also when i try to export a table (186,000 rcords) it
gives me an error message that the table is blocked by
another user. What can i do to export a big table to
another access program.

Please help

Are other users in the database when you attempt the C&R? That will cause
it to fail.
