comp shutting off

Sounds as if you have picked up a worm, try scanning with an AVG programme.
If you don't have an anti-virus programme then www.mcafee.com have an online
free scan service.

maybe blaster worm? does it come up with a warning that
says taht ur comp will restart in 1 minute?
