Often, when I try to open up my already posted query together with rsvp's, i
have trouble reading the results...

there is no scroll bar on the page...

if there are 2 -- 3 responses, I must click on my original question and
drag the mouse down off the page to view the responses..

any help on this?

thanks,

FLKulchar

What newsgroup?
Are you using a newsreader?

Here are some details which will help you follow Rick's excellent
advice:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
some links to information about newsgroups:

Answered in another newsgroup. Please do not send the same message
separately to more than one newsgroup (called multiposting). Doing so just
fragments the thread, so someone who answers in one newsgroup doesn't get to
see answers from others in another newsgroup. And for those who read all the
newsgroups the message is multiposted to, they see the message multiple
times instead of once (they would see it only once if you correctly
crossposted instead). This wastes everyone's time, and gets you poorer help
than you should get.

If you must send the same message to more than one newsgroup, please do so
by crossposting (but only to a *few* related newsgroups).

Please see "What is the accepted way to share a message across multiple
newsgroups?" at http://smjg.port5.com/faqs/usenet/xpost.html

THANKYOU for your help; I have now configured OE as a newsreader..

HOWEVER, i do not know the name of the newsgroup that we are in right now.

What is the name of the newsgroup..."Community Newsgroups" where I solicit
all of this help??

Thank you.

Sir:

I used msnews.microsoft.com as my NNTP server and searched for my
(FLKulchar) postings...I did NOT find them.

Perhaps I must reconfigure, or not???

Please advise.

Thank you,

FLKulchar

I gave you a link to a listing of all the Microsoft public newsgroups.
Here it is again:

http://aumha.org/nntp.htm

This newsgroup is microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.

The easiest way to find your previous posts is by using Google Groups
Advanced Search. You can constrain the search to the Microsoft
newsgroups if you like and then just search for your name.
