Hello,

The common tasks pane for my D: hard drive has changed automatically from
the regular System Tasks to Video Tasks. Is there any way to fix it back to
system tasks?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

I am still having problems. Everything else is okay except my D-drive. It
still has that video tasks thing and it slows down my computer when i click
on a folder that contains video files in them,

Help please

If you don't mind losing saved folder views, go here:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000: Line 2. left-hand column.

Create a text file with the following two lines:

[.ShellClassInfo]
FolderType=Documents

Name it desktop.ini and save it in the root directory of your D drive.

Then go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> 'View' tab -> Reset All Folders
