committing changes to local cache taking forever

I'm using several IMAP accounts with public folders in
Outlook 2003.
When moving from one folder to another i get every other
time a "committing changes to local cache..." message
with the headers it's fetching.
This process freeze outlook for a few minutes. Until it's
done . ANd 5 minutes later, it's back.

ANy suggestions??
