In Word2007, is there a way to have comments like in Excel. I want
there to be a mark that only shows that there is a comment. The
comment is then shown when the cursor moves over it. I also do not
want it to print.

not sure if you can change the way Word shows the comment. But you can
certainly print a document containing comments and/or TrackedChanges
without them: in Office button | Print, set the second last dropdown on
the left side ("print") from "Document with markups" to "Document" only.
