Comments PowerPoint XP not seen in PP 2000

I am having issues viewing comments inserted into a
presentation with Powerpoint XP and then viewing them from
PowerPoint 2000. It looks like the comments are just not
there. If I insert a comment with PowerPoint 2000 it is
visible from PP XP. Is there a fix for this?
