Comments on Ultra X-Connect?

I'm thinking of upgrading the PSU on my old Gateway from 250W to 400+. My
local Fry's has a deal on an Ultra X-Connect 450W. The PSU cabling is
certainly innovative, and the price is tempting.

Any comments on performance / behavior?
 
Reviews have been good.But I've read in plenty of forums that customers
aren't happy with them.
A google search for reviews(ultra-x connect reviews) turns up a lot of info

Since when is adding extra sockets "innovative"? You can get a
350-400W Fortron-Source (AKA Sparkle, Hi-Q, PowerQ) from NewEgg or
Directron that can actually put out more power than any Ultra PSU and
looks more substantial on the inside than a 450-550W Ultra does.
