I was hoping to get some general comments into the following scenario:
We have an internet application that allows people to initiate claims for
benefits. As part of this process, their answers raise questions of
eligibility to receive the benefits.
The program used to design this application has no capacity to allow
expanded explanation (different story altogether). We are looking at
deploying a set of forms on the internet to be returned via email, encrypted
using Tumbleweed Secure Messenger. The forms will incldue both text fields
and check boxes, but will not likely use drop-down boxes or combo boxes.
Once these forms are returned, we will route them and store them to a common
internal network.
Now, for my question and request for comment:
We have both MS Word and Adobe Acrobat available to develop and deploy these
forms. Which would you, as professional developers, see as most advantageous
or disadvantageous to this concept and why?
I appreciate any input.
