WinXP Pro SP1. I seem to have lost the scroll bars while in a Command Prompt
window. Any ideas on how to get them back?? I'm not real sure why they even
disappeared... I *think* they were there before, but I routinely work on 2
different machines, this one and my home win2k Pro machine, and it's
possible this is a "lost" feature on the XP and I never even noticed 'cause
the other machine still has 'em
To clarify, tho, I realize that if I make the CP window smallish, it will
bring up scroll bars. However, what I thought I had before, (and want back!)
was that when I executed some very long command, a dir, for example, with or
without using a pause param, it all eventually scrolls off the visible page.
Well, I cudda sworn that it used to be that the scroll bars would let you
see EVERYTHING you'd entered or displayed in the current session, even tho
it has scrolled off the screen. THAT'S what I want back.
TIA
