Command Buttons

Hello,

I have a different kind of question. I have a file that I made using
Access2K originally, and have since updated to Access2K3 and am still
actively working on. I recently made a very small and insignificant database
for the company I work for to crunch some customer satisfaction numbers for
them and realized that even though I developed the new database, still using
the Access2K format, but the command buttons look different. They have the
Windows XP more rounded and soft look to them. I very much prefer these
buttons, and was wondering if there is a way to change the buttons in my
older database to use the new graphic.

Thanks

The feature you are talking about is themed contorls.

And, yes, they certanly make 10 year old software look MUCH more modem.

here is some screen shots with thems turned off, and then turned on. While
you do loose some "sunken" cotorl effects, i most crtanly do like the themed
contorls.

So, I really do like this new look. To have themed controls, you must have
windows XP (at least sp1 installed, or themes don't show), and you need
access 2003, as previous versions don't have this feature.

And, in a2003, you can turn this feature off:

Tools->options->Forms/Reprots tab, (check/uncheck the Used windows themed
contorls)
