How can I assign a password on a control button which opens a swithboard
form? I need to have a password assigned to a form which will have various
buttons to print preview reports.

Why not implement user-level security and apply proper security to the
various objects so that only authorized users can open them?

Access comes with user-level security so you don't have to create home-grown
scenarios like the one you mentioned. What would prevent the user from just
going straight to the database window and running the report?

Now all I have to do is find out how to "implement user-level security and
apply proper security to the various objects." In Access, do you what topic
I would look up? I will try "user-level security" when I get to work.
THANKS!
