Combobox, query, and MS Access 2003

I designed a database in Access 2000, and we're moving on to 2003.

Unfortunately, I notice some quirks in the new version that I hope some
other people have seen, too. For example, I have a form that is used for
searching. One of the controls on the form is an unbound combobox with three
columns, with the column widths 1;2;0. Column heads come up for all three
columns, but row data in the first column is not being displayed. Row data
is displayed for the second column. When I review the query in the
rowsource, there all data is displayed. This is only a problem with this and
one other combobox. Other comboboxes on the same form do not exhibit the
same behavior.

The control has an function to requery it OnGotFocus and a default value of
"*". The rowsource is from a linked database. I've tried deleting and
reconstructing the control, both from copying and pasting the other working
comboboxes and using the wizard and the data still doesn't display.

Any help would be much appreciated.
