Combobox is now blank until clicked on

I have a multiuser access2003 database which has had no problems for a
couple of years. Now on one computer the comboboxes on a subform
appear blank unless clicked on and then you can see the underlying
data. I have repaired access with no luck. A complete reinstall of
office will fix the problem for a while and then the problem reappears
(or disappears) again. I would appreciate any help.

Choose About on the Help menu, and see if it says:
Access 2003 SP3.
If so, download this hotfix from Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945674
More information in:

If that is not the issue, are you filtering the combo's RowSource in some
way that could mean the display value is not present?

If that's not it either, check out the May 2006 update in:
Incorrect display of data

The problem is with your columns data mask. If within your table you mask
your data e.g (>) so that you have uppercase for that data, some how the ms
access will display blank data until you've select or highligh your data.

Thanks for your responses. It is only SP2 but we are now waiting for
it to occur again and so will run the hot fix then. BTW there was no
data mask either.
Thanks again
