Combobox and NEW data

I have two tables:
"A" Available Options (i use to populate combobox)
"B" Recorded data (records option used, date etc)

I have the combobox on form "B" that is populated with data from table "A".

However if i type into the combobox an option that is not yet in table "A" I get this error...
"ou cannot add or change a record because a related record is required in the table (A)"

I would like to have table "A" learn this new option.
All help gladly welcomed.

Use the NotInList event of the combo box to add the new data to the table
programmatically. You will find an example of doing that in the Help file or
at this link.
