Combo: Row source changed, but old list appears

Access 2007. I have a database using a number of combo boxes in the usual
way with table/query row sources. In some cases , possibly after invoking the
query builder, I have changed the row source and saved the form. On
re-opening in Design View, the new row source appears. However, in Form View
the old, deleted set of records appears. To get the new set of records to
appear, I have to delete the row source, save the form with row source empty,
then re-open and add the row source from scratch.Is this normal with 2007?

Ian, could you check that:

a) the Name AutoCorrect boxes are unchecked, under:
Office Button | Access Options | Current Database
Then compact/repair:
Office Button | Manage | Compact/Repair

b) You have applied Service Pack 1 for Office 2007. Source:

All check things done before problem occurred. I'd already found your
recovery sequence and other info re Access 2007 very helpful, again many
thanks.

I suspect the system tables MSysObjects and MSysQueries may not have updted
when the row source was changed, but have not been able to get the problem to
rrepeat so I can check. Will monitor and advise
