Combo Box validation in Outlook 2000

I have a combo box with several values for a user to choose from a dropdown list and I want to limit the user to selecting one of the values in my list. However, it appears that I tried to use too many characters in my Validation Formula because Outlook simply truncated my validation formula string. Is there an easier way to limit the user to only selecting from a choice in the list other than doing a validation formula like this: [ListName] <> "A" or [ListName] <> "B" or [ListName] <> "C" or [ListName] <> "D"? I tried setting "Match Required" to True and that almost works, but not always. If I exit from that field without putting in a valid value it gives a generic error message of "Invalid property value." So my first question would be how do I make the error message say something that indicates what field the error is referring to? My second question is why this does not always validate properly--that is, if I go into that field and add a value that is not in the list and then Send the form, it lets me go ahead and send it with the bad value in that field and does not give me an error message. So the Match Required validation only seems to work upon my exiting from that field. Is there any way to prevent that from happening?

That is simple. Just set the combobox style to DropList.
