Combo box using outside data

I have several spreadsheets where the user needs to enter a job number.


To avoid data entry errors, I would like to validate this field, bu
the list of job numbers is quite long and constantly growing, so
would like it to be in it's own spreadsheet, and to somehow link to th
many others.

Is that possible in Excel?
