Combo Box Help

I have a combo box in my form that lists all clients. I want to have an
option so that you can enter a new client if it is not in the field. The new
client and the data filled in the form with it would then be stored and added
to the list. What I've read from MS Help is to turn the NotInList off, and
then to use the OnNotInList property - but I am new to Access and I need
step-by-step guide how to set this up.

I followed the first link you provided and made the adjustments on my combo
box, however it does not pop up with the error message the directions
indicate. I can type new stuff into the box but it doesn't do anything. I
want it to drag up an empty form and then to save the new client and add it
to the list for future reference. Can you help me with this, and if not can
someone point where I can find some clear help with Access? I've posted
questions on here a couple time but I can never get them completely answered.
