Combo Box conflict with 'sort' on another page

Now, heres a strange problem. I have a combo box on 50 worksheets
(Invoices) that drops a product description in an active cell. It get
the description from a range on worksheet called Prices. When i go to
sort the prices (to facilitate VLOOKUP), it raplaces the active cell
data in the range with whatever is in the combo box, EVEN if it is a
blank line! How do I get around this?

OK, forget that, it only seems to happen when I have the control
toolbox open, which it wouldnt be during normal use.
