Combo Box, Command Button Pop Wizards Disabled???

Hello,
Wondering if anyone has ever had this problem. Whenever I place a combo box
or command button on a form, the pop up wizard that walks you through setting
it up doesn't appear. I checked through the Options and Customize menus and I
cannot find any way to disable/enable them. I do not get any error messages
either and I am able to use other wizards like the report wizard, table
wizard.

Any ideas on how to re-enable these wizards would be greatly appreciated!!!
They make configuring these objects much easier.

In design view of the form, have a look at the Toolbox. Near the top
there is an icon with a magician's wand and stars Make sure this is
switched on.

They make configuring these objects much easier.

Well, that's a matter of opinion!

There's a button in the tool box that controls this. It looks like a magic
wand. Should be right beside the Select Object icon (the arrow head)

You may want to try re-registering DAO:

Start ... Run ... then type

regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\dao360.dll"

all on one line. If that still doesn't help, it may be a good idea to
reinstall Office. I never accept the standard installation, preferring to
load everything.

sorry seem to have missed some replies.

No go on the DAO. Have tried a repair but will try a reinstall.

The best results from a reinstall will come if you first uninstall, then
reboot before the reinstall. If you have a registry cleaner, run that and
reboot again before the reinstall.
