Combo Box and Default Value.

I have a combo box in a form and I want it to have a default Value. But when
I type in the default value it doesn't apply to my form. My default value is
in the combo box so but it just won't stay in the form. Can someone please
help me fix this.

Where are you typing in the default value? In the ComboBox?
You should use the DefaultValue Property of the combo.
= "SomeDefaultValue"

I go into the properties of the combo box and I go down to Default Value. I
type in what I want it to be and it won't work.

What exactly are you typing in there?
You do realize that the DefaultValue for a field is only in effect on New records?
After a record has been created the DefaultValue has no effect.
